Many flicks that fail are flicks I enjoy. Moviegoers are rabid these days, and they search every flick for something to hate.Īnd this is coming from someone who is far easier to please than the vast majority of moviegoers. Hell, even followup sequels to movies that aren't based on books aren't well received. And on top of that, moviegoers are very critical these days even without a previously established fandom. Have you seen the way people scrutinize movies these days? There is no possible way they can condense even a single first law book into a movie without the fans rioting.įilm adaptations of beloved books are rarely received very well as it is.
